Coming Out to Centre County

We are euphoric to announce we have officially been designated a Pennsylvania non-profit!

This huge step comes only only day before our second event, Lucky Friday the 13th Drag Bingo, an event which we had the opportunity to talk about on local radio two days ago. While our realization as a nonprofit is just the start of our work promoting and expanding LGBTQA rights in Centre County, we want to thank all of those who have taken notice of this important issue. The Daily Collegian documented our organization at its origins, along with The Underground, and also wrote an article about our statement in the aftermath of the hateful rally in Charlottesville which left one dead. Centre Daily Times was so interested in our mission they reported on us with cameras in one of their Focus segments which you can watch by clicking on the picture below.

Most importantly we thank Centre LGBTQA Support Network for their charitable grant which aided in funding our initial fees and work. They are a fantastic ally throughout the county and hope to work with them on support projects, outside of our educational and activist programs. Their grant is so crucial to our existence that it helped us in deciding what "LGBT alphabet soup" we would choose: being, of course, LGBTQA.
